Contribution to society

Data centers are not only an integral part of the digital economy, but also play a vital role in communities in which they are located in. This award focuses on the contributions data center operators have made to a society as part of their data center investments, both on a local and national level.

 

The range of contributions can be in the form of investing in local businesses or organisations to investing in and developing clean energy in the region.

Criteria:

  • This Award is given to a data center operator (; enterprise, colocation/data center services, MSP, ISP, cloud provider) who has made positive contribution to society as part of their data center build within the last 3 years in Denmark.

  • Entrants are welcome to submit any form of projects ranging from investing in renewables regionally to community engagements in their local areas.

  • Entrants should be able to clearly demonstrate what active role they have played on a local or national level.

  • Clients, consulting engineers, vendors and other relevant stakeholders are welcome to nominate and assist a data center operator on their behalf. The award will be given to the data center investor/operator.
